The Belmont Brew House was established by us, Bob and Chris Belmont, as a place to make guests feel welcomed and appreciated, a place to catch up with old friends and make new ones, a place for our family and yours.
We start with a great collection of local and regional beers, we add to that elevated bar food, and we serve it all with a friendly team dedicated to delivering a wonderful experience to every guest every visit.
We have worked in the hospitality industry our entire lives, with Bob getting his start as a dishwasher at a restaurant named Jolly Roger and Chris beginning in the kitchen at a fine establishment known as Taco Bell. We both began as teenagers and we both began when the years still started with 19.
After decades of honing our skills in the business and growing our passion for customer service, fate brought us together during a training session at TGiFridays in The Orleans Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. Our lives entwined, Bob saw Chris rise to become a Vice President of Operations for an IHOP franchise, and Chris saw Bob develop into a Senior Director of Operations at Fridays.
The more we worked, the more we developed a zeal for great drinks, tasty food, and friendly and engaging service. After another decade and a half in the industry, we decided we wanted to become “uncorporate” and open a small taproom in Idaho stocked with as many high-quality beers as we can fit, as much delicious food as we can cook, and the best team we can put together.
We settled on 43 taps of incredible local and regional beers, we selected our favorite homemade recipes, and we assembled a great team of good people to provide the best experience possible. We hope you will stop on by our warm and inviting 100-seat Brew House (and its dog friendly patios!).
We want everyone to feel welcome here from the moment they arrive until they leave. We are excited to be part of the Garden City community and look forward to welcoming you to your hoppy place.
